Lakshmi is depicted as a beautiful woman, dressed in red, pink, orange and gold embroidery, having four arms, usually standing or sitting on a lotus. She is often shown with coins flowing from her hands streaming down to her followers. It said that she enjoys the scents of jasmine and sandalwood and is pleased by brightly colored flowers.
