Kate has always been fascinated and inspired by the ancient Egyptian art of perfuming. The Egyptians associated perfumery with the gods and believed it to be an integral part of health and well-being that serves to connect us with the divine. She wanted to create a line of special perfumes that reflected that notion and incorporated some of her favorite deities from other cultures as well.
