February 2nd is Imbolc, aka Candlemas, a Sabbat which marks the middle point between the Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox. This is a time for purification and fertilization of our desired manifestations (harvest). Now the days are notably getting longer as the night slowly recedes giving way to lady light.

utumn is my favorite time of year. Maybe it’s because I’m an early December child, born in the late Fall. I love the turn of the colors, the piled up squashes in the markets, the slight chill in the air and of course the aromas of cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg, allspice, anise and baked apples and pears.
